Confluence of Kings: NPOD viewer Liane Keane submitted this imposing picture. The rugged Sierra Nevada's play host to the confluence of the Middle Fork of the Kings River (center of picture) and the South Fork of the Kings River (bottom of picture). The South Fork of the Kings River runs through the canyon that is the namesake of Kings Canyon National Park. Kings Canyon is the deepest in the United States at 8200' deep.
