The End of The Journey: NPOD Viewer Pam Webb submitted this gorgeous picture. These leaves are approaching the end of their journey. A journey that started as new buds in the spring. Growing to full size and capturing the light of the summer sun, and then fading like the light of the fall as the chlorophyll fades away and the leaves fall from their trees. Some end up under their parent tree in piles, some fall into creeks and flow into rivers, ending their journey hundreds of miles from where they started.
