Here's Lookin' Atcha, Cutie
Here's Lookin' Atcha, Cutie: Anne M. Fearon Wood took this picture of a snaggly-toothed American Alligator in Florida's Everglades National Park. Common in the Everglades National Park, American Alligators can be found from North Carolina to Texas! Interestingly, these alligators provide a unique service to other marsh inhabitants. They uproot vegetation using their mouth, claws, and powerful tails, clearing a depression that will hold water during the dry season, providing a water source for all sorts of water loving fish, insects, and other creatures.
