Pretty Eyes: Nope, that is not a mythical beast with yellow eyes, in fact that is a Short Eared Owl, this particular one found on the Galapagos Islands. It is interesting to note that Pirates released goats and pigs to the Islands to be used in later resupply stops. To combat the Pirates, other governments released dogs to eat the goats before the pirates could eat them!
