Perched Rock: How long before this boulder falls off the cliff? This huge rock is a glacial erratic. Found in California's Lassen National Park, park scientists estimate that it was left perched on the cliff edge by a glacier about 18,000 years ago. If it has been sitting there so long without falling, it will probably be there for a while longer!
