Beautiful photo Judith. In the 15th century this flower was named after the crucifiction of Christ. One can follow the entire passion of Christ in the various parts of the flower. How amazing, that it produces such a sweet, juicy fruit. Hallelujah is right :) and a loud hallelujah to all of nature. :)
