October 19, 2008: Bear Trap Cave

Bear Trap Cave: Not far from Craters of the Moon National Monument, this cave is part of a lava tube that is almost 15 miles long! Bear Trap Cave is tall and wide, but not quite long enough to hide the daylight streaming in from the entrance. Let this serve as a lesson not to go tearing off through the prairies of southern Idaho, the ground could disappear from beneath you!
